Terms of use
Last updated October 26, 2026
These terms cover the After Dark websites (afterdark.fm, wow.afterdark.fm, knowing.afterdark.fm, tech.afterdark.fm), the After Dark YouTube channels, and After Dark Studio. How we handle data is in the privacy policy.
The shows and the websites
- For information and fun: the episodes are short, animated shows made with AI tools and checked by a person (see How it's made on each show's site). They link to their sources; they are not professional, legal, medical, safety or buying advice, and you should check anything important with the original source or a professional.
- Unofficial: After Dark shows are fan and editorial productions, not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies, games or products they talk about. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
- Our content: the episodes, characters, artwork and site design belong to After Dark. You may watch, share links to and embed the episodes; don't re-upload or sell them.
- YouTube: watching our videos on YouTube is also covered by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our production tool uses YouTube API Services only to upload and manage our own videos on our own channels.
- Corrections: spotted a mistake? Email qaphub.apps@gmail.com and we will fix it.
After Dark Studio
After Dark Studio at afterdark.fm, which turns podcasts into animated video shows. By creating an account you agree to the terms below.
Early access
The Studio is in early access. Features may change, break or be removed, and production times are not guaranteed. Every plan is free during early access; we will give you clear notice before anything costs money, and nothing is ever charged without you choosing a paid plan.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Studio.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Your username is your show's address (username.afterdark.fm). We may reclaim names that impersonate someone, infringe a trademark or sit unused for a long time.
Your content
You keep all rights to what you upload and to the videos we produce for you. You give us permission to store, process and render your uploads only to provide the Studio to you (and, when you publish an episode to your page, to show it there).
Only upload content you have the right to use. That includes the consent of everyone whose voice is in your episode, and the rights to any music, images or clips you include.
Not allowed
- Content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing or that sexualizes minors.
- Impersonating real people or making it look like someone said something they didn't.
- Uploading malware, abusing the service, or trying to get into other people's accounts.
We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
No warranty
The Studio is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages. Keep your own copies of your files.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will note the date above; big changes will be announced in the Studio. Questions: qaphub.apps@gmail.com.
